EMPOWERED HOUSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In the spirit of good practise, when you are purchasing coaching services from Empowered House, we would ask that you read and accept our terms and conditions. By engaging in Empowered House services you are agreeing to all that is stated below.

 

The date that the first coaching appointment takes place shall be deemed to be the start date of service. Participation by any individual in the first coaching appointment constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. If unhappy with any of these terms and conditions, your Empowered House coach, Holly, can be contacted to discuss your concerns.

 

Coaching Schedule

The date and time of the first coaching appointment, and any subsequent appointments will be agreed and confirmed between coach and client.

 

The coaching schedule, frequency, and number of sessions booked will be arranged between the client and coach, based on a professional assessment of the client’s requirements. This recommendation is not binding, and may be altered or adjusted throughout the coaching journey by mutual agreement, in accordance with the terms set out in this agreement.

  

In return for the fees payable by the client, Empowered House agrees to provide the service in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below. 

Cancelling or Rearranging Appointments 

Empowered House operates a 24hr business day cancellation policy. Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice or non-attendance will be charged the full session fee. Holly is committed to providing all of her clients with exceptional care, and when a client cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent someone else from being seen. In exceptional circumstances Empowered House may need to rearrange a coaching session, in these instances you will be given as much notice as practically possible.

 

Coaching Format

1-to-1 video or phone call via agreed method, or in person coaching locally. Your Empowered House coach is responsible for ensuring availability for appointments at the agreed times. 

 

Fees and Payments

Payment for Coaching Conversations is payable either upfront, or on the day of appointment, on a pay as you go basis, unless otherwise agreed. Fees can be paid via bank transfer. Where receipts are requested by the client, they will be sent via e-mail unless requested otherwise. Current fees can be found under the 'Coaching' tab in the website menu. If payment has not been received, your next coaching appointment may not commence until payment for the previous is made.

 

Between Coaching Appointments

Empowered House coaching may include tasks or exercises known as ‘Lifework’, to be completed between Coaching Conversations. There is no obligation for the client to complete these self-explorative exercises, but not doing so may slow the client’s progress in gaining improved quality of life or achieving desired business or personal aspirations.

 

The client may contact their coach between conversations to seek clarification or support regarding to anything arising from their coaching, to respond to any check-in correspondence sent from the coach, or for administrative purposes (e.g. rearranging an appointment or making a payment). Additional coaching can also be provided between sessions at an additional session fee. No such charges will be imposed without the client’s agreement.

 

Confidentiality

All personal information supplied by clients during Empowered House Coaching is treated as strictly private and confidential. Information will not be disclosed to a third party without the client’s prior permission, where required by law, or where action might be necessary to prevent harm to the client or someone else. Empowered House is registered under the ICO and operates in accordance with GDPR and The Data Protection Act policies.

 

Termination of Service

In exceptional circumstances, such as illness or unavailability due to bereavement or other commitments, inappropriate behaviour by the client, actual or potential conflict of interest, or other reasons, Empowered House can decide to terminate services to the client, refuse or be unable to provide any further coaching. In such a circumstance the client will be given reasonable notice of termination where practical, and will be refunded any advance payments made for Coaching Conversations not yet provided.

 

The client can also terminate coaching with Empowered House at any time, with reasonable notice, and will be refunded any advance payments made for Coaching Conversations not yet provided.

 

Responsibilities

Empowered House will seek to enable the client to improve their quality of life or level of business and personal successes, and to achieve their desired outcomes. Remarkable results can be achieved where clients follow a plan of action in a committed way. However, the client has sole responsibility for taking important decisions in their life or business. Empowered House has no liability for any loss incurred by any client, whether financial or otherwise, following commencement of coaching, or for any perceived failure by the client, whether justified or otherwise, to achieve improvement in quality of life or business or to achieve their desired outcomes or goals.

Variation of Terms and Conditions

Empowered House may change any of these terms or conditions including the per appointment fee, by giving the client one week’s notice in writing by email of the change(s). If following receipt of such notification of change, the client no longer wishes to proceed with further coaching sessions, they may withdraw from the service immediately by giving notice in writing, and they will then be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid in advance for coaching sessions not yet provided.

 

DISCLAIMER

Comments and ideas offered by Empowered House are solely for the purpose of aiding clients in achieving their goals. Clients are fully responsible for their well-being during coaching, including subsequent choices and decisions.

 

All coaching services and communication, email or otherwise, delivered by coaches at Empowered House, is to help experience an overall sense of greater well-being and is not a substitute for professional mental health or medical care. Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment, and must not be used in place of any form of counselling. Your Empowered House coach is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any conditions. Coaches are not mental health counsellors or medical professionals.


Empowered House is the registered name for self-employed Life Coach Holly Richardson. She, and the business name she trades under, are fully insured. 

 

For legal purposes, by undertaking Empowered House services you understand and agree that coaching is currently an unregulated industry and that your Empowered House Coach is not “licensed “ by any UK body, even though the appointments may take place in the UK.
